About
Pocket Verdict started as a group chat where a few friends kept sending each other screenshots and complaints about mobile games. At some point we figured we might as well write it all down properly instead of losing it in a thread. That is the whole origin story, no big pitch behind it.
We are independent. Nobody hands us a schedule or tells us which games to praise. When we cover something, it means one of us actually installed it, played past the tutorial, and lived with it for a while on a normal phone rather than some borrowed flagship.,We pick games across genres on purpose. Puzzle fans and RPG grinders read the same site, so we try not to drown in one category. A game gets a slot when it does something worth talking about, good or bad.,Every review here reflects hours of real play, not a press blurb. If a game annoyed us after two days, we say so. If it surprised us, we say that too. The goal is simple: help you decide before you burn phone storage and an afternoon.
