Tidecrown Command

Tidecrown Command is a slower strategy game that trusts you to think. You manage ports, shipping lanes, and rival factions who react to what you build. There is no constant timer screaming at you, which on mobile is a rare kindness.

The interface deserves credit. Complex strategy on a small screen usually turns into a mess of tiny buttons, but here the panels collapse and expand cleanly. I could plan a three-turn trade play on a bus without squinting.

Matches are long, so this is a lean-back game for a quiet hour, not a quick fill-in. Battery use is reasonable for the genre since the map is mostly static between decisions.
